JOB SUMMARY
The International Enrollment Director at Mid-Pacific plays a vital role in the recruitment and retention of international students and families. This person represents Mid-Pacific within both international and local communities and serves as the primary point of contact for international applicants throughout the admission and enrollment process. Additionally, this role supports international students and families throughout their journey at Mid-Pacific, from inquiry to integration, ensuring a smooth transition and fostering community engagement. The International Enrollment Director partners with various offices and departments of the School, creating processes and programs that support equitable and positive processes and programs for international students and families. As the Primary Designated Signing Officer (PDSO), the associate ensures SEVIS compliance and manages related processes. This multifaceted position requires a strong commitment to enhancing the international student experience at Mid-Pacific. The International Enrollment Director is a member of the Admissions and Enrollment Team and reports to the Director of Enrollment Management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
International Recruitment and Admissions:
  • Represent Mid-Pacific in the international and local communities; establish and maintain contacts with international and local educational agencies and organizations; and, develop and maintain relationships with international recruitment agents and consultants.
  • Organize outreach events and activities locally and abroad promoting the school among various international communities. M
    eet with prospective international students and families and communicate Mid-Pacific’s educational programs and international experience.
  • Provide high-quality and personalized customer service and guidance to prospective international families throughout the admissions application process.
  • Facilitate the admissions and enrollment processes for international students and families, including, but not limited to,
    the collection of required admissions documents, campus tours, information sessions, and assessments/interviews (virtually and in person).
  • Read and evaluate admissions applications and serve on the Admissions Committee.
  • Gather, analyze, and report on international recruitment and enrollment data.
  • Participate in international travel for recruitment and retention of international students and families.
International Student and Family Support:
  • Create and implement transition processes for newly enrolled international students and families, working closely with administration, grade-level deans, and key staff.
  • Serve as a liaison for newly enrolled families; develop processes and partnerships within academic divisions to facilitate an effective, organized, and supportive transition to student life at Mid-Pacific.
  • Cultivate positive relationships, support networks, and community engagement with current international families. This may include collaborating with the school’s parent/guardian association, alumni association, college counseling, and other school offices and departments.
  • Work closely with Academic Affairs and the English Language Development Program to support positive and supportive academic and student life experiences for international students and families.
  • Collaborate with Institutional Advancement on harnessing support for the school through cultivation and stewardship.
Other Duties:
  • Serve as the Primary Designated Signing officer (PDSO) for the school, and maintain all student records to ensure SEVIS eligibility and compliance.
  • Manage and maintain all processes regarding The Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) and stay relevant and informed on information regarding the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP).
  • Assist with and attend admissions events, including fairs, open houses, student visit days, assessment/interviews, and yield events.
  • Collaborate with the Communications department on creating relevant marketing materials for international recruitment, retention, and enrollment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Enrollment Management
SCHOOL SAFETY

Sexual abuse includes child molestation, any actual or alleged illegal or otherwise wrongful sexual conduct with a minor, and serial sexual misconduct, any actual or alleged illegal or otherwise wrongful sexual conduct with more than one victim; and committed by or alleged to have been committed by any perpetrator who is not a student of an included entity.
  • Develop safe work procedures and ensure adherence to procedures.
  • Ensure compliance of safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate safety issues with employees.
  • Ensure that employees are provided with information, instruction, training and supervision that they need to work safely.
  • Ensure that employees are aware of and abide by all relevant safety procedures.
  • Encourage early reporting of incidents and forward information to Manager and Human Resources immediately.

QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, Master's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of domestic and international admissions experience or experience in a related field.

WORK SCHEDULE
12-month position, 40-hour workweeks. Regular work hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, however, these hours may vary depending on several factors. Must be flexible to work outside business hours to meet deadlines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Our campus consists of multiple buildings on 44 hilly acres that requires frequent walking including uphill and stairs. The individual is required to talk and hear, often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard. The employee may be required to stand, walk, lift and carry approximately 10-15 pounds, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl. Requires close vision.
