SALARY RANGE: $55,000 - $65,000 Annually

JOB SUMMARY

The Employee Wellness and Engagement Specialist will play a pivotal role in promoting the well-being and engagement of our employees. Acting as the main point of contact, this role will provide essential guidance on our comprehensive benefit offerings, assisting employees in navigating enrollment processes and addressing any related inquiries. Additionally, the Specialist will offer support to employees managing leave of absence, ensuring they receive necessary information and assistance during these periods. Responsibilities extend to the management of various benefits, including medical, dental, disability, life insurance, retirement plans, and more, all while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and prioritizing employee well-being and satisfaction. Alongside these responsibilities, the Specialist will also take charge of coordinating engaging initiatives on campus, fostering a vibrant and supportive workplace culture. 

QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled at developing and establishing solid relationships with community members and vendors.
  • Ability to maintain integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and hands on experience with an HRIS.
  • Knowledge of current employment laws and practices.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field with three (3) plus years of benefits, HR generalist and/or accounting experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of progressive benefit offerings, benefit administration and leave administration is highly desirable.
