Job DescriptionThe business and community development manager is responsible for working directly with new and existing businesses' CEO, president and other company leadership as they evaluate growth and expansion opportunities to assist MidAmerican Energy in meeting financial performance and customer service objectives. The manager serves as a skilled resource to local, regional and state, economic development organizations, CEO's and corporate leaders, global site selectors and communities by assisting with developing responses, contractual agreements, data management and financial options. The manager is also the liaison with businesses' owners and leadership teams and community leaders, both elected and appointed, to assist with community relations, various projects, strategic plans, utility service, public relations and reputation management issues. The manager is responsible for resolving issues by creating the appropriate internal team of resources to positively impact MidAmerican's customer satisfaction. The position contributes directly to the corporate goal of achieving a high level of customer satisfaction.
