A skilled Cardiovascular Technician should be able to perform a range of duties and responsibilities to support physicians and surgeons. They are primarily responsible for operating special imaging equipment to assess patients before, during and after medical procedures pertaining to the heart and lungs
McLaren Flint is a 378 bed tertiary teaching facility located in Flint, Michigan, serving the medical needs of residents in greater Genesee County and Mideast Michigan. McLaren Flint is affiliated with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in its medical residency programs including family practice, internal medicine, general surgery and orthopedic surgery. McLaren Flint also maintains vascular surgery, health psychology and cardiology fellowship programs in partnership with Michigan State University. • Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours on bill rates over $40/hr
• OT/Holiday/Call back Markups: 1.1x Regular rates
• Extension Discount: $1/hr on the initial extension.
• McLaren's local traveler policy is to reduce the travel rate by 10%. Anyone with a permanent address within a 35 mile radius of facility is considered a local traveler.

• References NOT required.
• A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required. All other professions outside of Nursing are not required but preferred.
• Michigan license verification is required for nurses. Please provide LARA and Nursys; if there is a license hit, it would be in the traveler’s best interest to provide a write-up of what happened for the manager's review.
• Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above.
• Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
