Midco Brand is Hiring a Senior Business Sales Trainer (Temporary) Near Sioux Falls, SD

This is a short-term, temporary role.

JOB PURPOSE:

Create, deliver and update training programs focused on sales effectiveness by improving selling skills and product knowledge. Drive engagement with Sales teams by building training programs that drive value.

KEY FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure maximum effectiveness of the business sales team by developing and implementing successful training programs supporting a wide range of service components, new and existing products/services, communication and sales skills, software applications and customer service support objectives.
  • Conduct training in a variety of styles including but not limited to classroom facilitation, computer-based training, process and written documentation.
  • Deliver onboarding training sessions for new hires.
  • Develop successful, effective internal training programs that decreases time for sellers to improve their selling skills and easily explain complex product information to non-technical audiences.
  • Review, update, organize and deliver high quality onboarding program for new hires.
  • Evaluate sales team performance to ensure training program success and recommend enhancements and requirements for new program development inclusive of researching training methodologies, learning tools, platforms, and practices.
  • Collaborate and coordinate activities with subject matter experts and partner departments to deliver relevant employee trainings.
  • Work with Sales Leaders in analyzing the performance of the workforce so that additional training can be prescribed and developed.
  • Produce comprehensive training manuals and maintain organized, updated training records.
  • Compile timely and accurate reports on training effectiveness.
  • Follow and serve as a role model in displaying Midco’s Core Values and Leadership Success Drivers.
  • Adhere to Midco’s privacy guidelines to ensure each customer’s privacy.
  • Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.

  • finding ways to cut through ambiguous problems.
  • Identify root causes of problems and implement solutions while keeping a holistic and long-term perspective in mind.
  • Actively follow Midco policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing and conducting sales training required.
  • Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with a focus in Communications, Business, or Sales preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL & MENTAL QUALIFICATOINS:

  • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
  • Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.
