Rehabilitation Patient Registration Specialist - Floating position*Housing Stipend available*

Reports to: Director of Rehabilitation Services

Description: The Patient Registration Specialist will be responsible for patient intake for the Rehabilitation Department. The Patient Registration Specialist will be expected to perform and master various work assignments to accomplish the team’s goal of being the Premier Patient Access that other competitors strive to exemplify. Floating position at the rehab clinics in Granby, Fraser and Kremmling.

Essential Job Duties:

• Manage multiple phone lines, practice superior customer service in a teamwork environment, and communicate professionally with other medical facilities, departments, vendors, insurance carriers and patients.
• Obtain and confirm accurate demographic and referral and financial information from patients, family members and/or patient’s legal representative.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits; explain financial requirements to the patient or patient representative.
• Maintains confidentiality of all MPH and patient information as mandated by HIPPA.

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Working knowledge of insurance processing, CPT, ICD-10, co-pay and coverage verification processes preferred.
• Solid computer skills.
• Strong verbal/written skills to communicate information clearly with patient, family member, and insurance companies.
• Float position requires the unique ability to change and adapt to the situation.

Status: Part-Time 3 days/week
Location: Float Granby, Fraser, Kremmling

Compensation: $22.60 - $28.88 per hour DOE $175/mo Housing Stipend available for residents of Grand, Summit or Jackson county
