Responsibilities:
1 or 1 .5 days per week as available PRN
- Perform mammography procedures on patients following established protocols and guidelines.
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring proper functioning and image quality.
- Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions to ensure accurate imaging.
- Review and evaluate mammography images for quality and diagnostic value.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate results.
- Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Mammography Technologist.
- Proficiency in performing mammography procedures using various imaging modalities.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation.
- Familiarity with other medical imaging techniques such as CT, PET scan, sonography, and X-ray is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
