The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the direct management of several key accounting and financial reporting functions within the organization. Responsibilities include:

DescriptionPosition Summary:Located in Lexington, KY this role reports directly to the Vice President of Fund Accounting. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the direct management of several key accounting and financial reporting functions within the organization. Responsibilities include:
- Supports capital call/distribution process.
- Contributes to interim financial and regulatory reporting to Investors.
- Supports annual tax return engagement.
- Research and analysis for ad hoc matters.
- Will be responsible for assisting in cash management duties including expense budgeting and forecasting and line of credit management,
- Frequently assess treasury management function including open/close approved bank accounts, remove/add users.
- Supports the Fund Accounting Vice President in ensuring the organization has policies, procedures, internal controls, segregation of duties and system in place to support firm operations.
- Partners with the Vice President, senior leadership, Human Capital and other firm operations staff to enhance and better integrate finance, and other administrative functions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4 or more years of accounting and finance leadership experience
- CPA or relevant professional certification preferred but not required
- Experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
