Growing company in the plastics resin industry has an outstanding opportunity available for a Sr. Sales Engineer. This position will be based in the Chicago area. This position will be involved in Account Management, New Business Development, Prospecting, Sales Forecasting & Planning.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Chemistry or some type of technical degree is a must.
• Must have at least five years of plastics sales experience.
• Experience in polymers, packaging, polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, LDPE, ABS, polyolefins, thermoplastics, thermosets, extrusion, injection molding, compounding, elastomers, TPE, rubber or nylons would be a plus.
• 50% travel required.
