Midland University, a private, faith based, liberal arts university is seeking an Adjunct Code Academy Instructor. The Adjunct Code Academy Instructor's primary role is delivering code courses in an online format with Midland University's Center for Graduate and Professional Studies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach a cohort of Nebraska Department of Corrections students online from 8am-11am Monday-Friday from September 2024 to March 2025 with holiday and staff breaks.
• Adapt and update the existing curriculum to meet student needs, job readiness expectations, and new technologies as needed
• Assist students with job search preparation
• Collaborate with academic and advising teams to address student issues

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in core Code Academy topics, coding languages, and platforms, including HTML/CSS/SQL/REACT/JAVASCRIPT. The curriculum is already developed.
• Experience in teaching and training with the ability to convey complex technical information in an engaging and relevant way
