Midland is Hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Near Branchburg, NJ

INTRODUCTION

The Behavior Analyst works closely with other members of Midland’s team of professionals in the Adult Life Programs who support the overall mission of the organization. This position carries our responsibilities in the following functional areas: behavior plan assessment, development, monitoring and re-assessments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Design, implement and monitor individual behavior plans through functional assessment;

· Provide consultation and intervention regarding individual behavior management as part of a collaborative team, including families and Support Coordinators;

· Conduct direct observations and assessments of all adults served by Midland;

· Maintain contact and communication with Midland management and administrative staff regarding related progress and/or concerns with behavioral treatment modalities for individuals served;

· Provide phone consultation, internally and externally according to HIPAA releases, regarding individual behaviors,

· Document hours worked on individual’s behavioral aspects into Midland’s electronic health record: Foothold/AWARDS. Completed behavior plans and related data collection sheets will be sent via email distribution to all parties with a need to know;

· Present professional development workshops and ad-hoc training to staff on related topics specific to individual’s behavior plans;

· Maintain current knowledge of recent research, practice and resources in the field of behavioral analysis;

· Participate in all staff meetings, including service plan and interdisciplinary team, as appropriate or requested;

· Attend select evening meetings and conferences;

· Respond to and assist in managing crisis situations;

· Perform other duties as required and assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

· Master’s degree with studies in behavioral analysis from accredited college or university

· Board Certified Behavior Analyst (National Certification) and/or NADD;

· Three of more years’ experience writing behavioral plans in keeping with positive practices and current behavioral research;

· Intermediate to Advanced PC skills with proficiency in:

· MS Office including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint;

· Software systems, as assigned;

· Valid New Jersey Driver’s License with good driving record;

· Complete and clear criminal background check;

· Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality;

· Must have high initiative, integrity, strong work ethic, good communication and analytical skills;

· Excellent time management, organizational skills and enjoy working in a fast paced environment;

· Able and willing to work well in a diverse environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
