Full Job Description
We are in search of a skilled front office receptionist for our busy dental office. We would prefer to find someone who is already well versed in how a dental front office works and is already proficient with coordinating dental insurance benefits for patients. We need someone who can hit the ground running with minimal training, except perhaps getting used to our software (we use Dentix Ascend). You would be working in a team of 5 total administrative staff, including our Office Manager, Insurance Coordinator, our Front Desk Lead, and one other front office receptionist. You would be working at the front desk with the other receptionists to answer phone calls, schedule appointments, check patients in and out, etc. You may also occasionally be asked to help build simple treatment plans for patients if the insurance coordinator is unavailable.
Our private dental practice has now been established for 52 years and counting. We are looking for a friendly, kind, good spirited individual with great work ethic to join our team of 17 wonderful people. We are a medium sized group practice with 3 general dentists, 4 hygienists, 5 dental assistants, and our 5 administrative staff members. Our team is very close to each other and our practice focuses on creating a workspace where we can all thrive and grow together in a comfortable, caring environment. We look forward to meeting our new team member!
Pay will be based on experience level of candidate. We would prefer to hire somebody who can work full time. Our office is open Monday-Friday, but Friday is an early out day so we close at 12:30 so everybody can enjoy an extra long weekend!
