The General Manager will have overall responsibility for overseeing the daily operations of Midway Golf Games Events & 44 Tavern. They will lead and develop the management team, working alongside managers and assistant managers to continuously improve business practices and offer exceptional customer service. The General Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Operations.

• Manage and coordinate three department managers and their assistant managers, in support of outdoor sports, food service, and events at Midway Golf Games Events & 44 Tavern.
• Spearhead conversations with management team to develop and implement strategies for company growth and improvement.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
• Assist in financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
• Oversee and approve employee scheduling and time off requests.
• Provide regular updates to owners and provide input on business and employee performance.
• Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
• Provide support in managing food service and events.
• Foster a friendly, dedicated and healthy work environment for a team of 150 employees.
• Serve as a company representative for occasional community outreach and recruitment events.
• Assist in training and supervising staff members.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements and Skills:

• Minimum of five years of experience managing people.
• Knowledge of food production, bartending, catering, banquet, and/or event operations.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proficient in computer systems and software applications relevant to the industry.
