As a Feed Truck driver and a team member of Midway Co-op, it is essential to prioritize the level of service provided to our customers; proactively communicate; work as a team; understand and promote the benefits of a Cooperative; troubleshoot and problem solve; collaborate across departments and locations; and continuously grow to enhance the service and products the Co-op provides.

The Feed Truck is responsible for daily feed deliveries. Responsibilities include timely deliveries; accurate documentation of sales and inventory; and equipment maintenance and/or repair.

As needed, Feed Truck drivers will assist various departments when deliveries and service calls are not scheduled.

The Feed Truck driver is responsible for providing teamwork within the Co-op through knowledge of safe business practices; effective time management and recordkeeping; effective written and verbal communication; a professional appearance; and consistent follow through for successful completion of responsibilities. 

Responsibilities focus on excellent customer service; efficient scheduling and routes; prompt deliveries or service calls; safe driving practices; vehicle and equipment maintenance or repair; housekeeping; inventory management; and accurate recordkeeping. The Feed Truck driver must demonstrate proficiency in computer operations, and the willingness and ability to learn new software programs.

As a Feed Truck driver, you will be responsible for promoting sales and use of Midway Co-op products and services. This position is based on the customers’ needs and therefore fluctuates as far as hours worked during peak seasons. Generally, this position is 40-50 hours per week, Monday through Saturday.
