Midwest Equipment Company is a multi-line distributor of commercial foodservice equipment including Taylor soft serve freezers, slush machines and grills, Flavorburst, Broaster Pressure Fryers and Smokaroma cooking equipment. We are based in Fenton, MO (St. Louis suburb) with 42 technicians across our five-state territory: Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Northwest Arkansas.
Our technicians work from home out of a company-owned, well-stocked service van. We furnish the service vehicle, trade tools, equipment, iPhone, iPad, uniforms, annual allowance for footwear and a program to replenish hand tools. Employees receive regular performance/wage reviews.
Our basic work week is full-time, Monday through Friday, with regular opportunity for overtime. Our benefit package includes a very competitive hourly wage with door-to-door pay, health, vision and dental insurance, 401K match, paid vacations, personal, and sick time.
Responsibilities:
An Installation Technician delivers, installs, starts up and demonstrates use of our products. Good customer relations skills are required. Candidates must have working electrical and refrigeration knowledge. Position requires EPA Universal Refrigeration certification. The position can be a path to promotion to Senior Service Technician and beyond.
