Parts Customer Service Specialist - (No Weekends or On-Call Requirement!)
Founded over 30 years ago, Midwest Equipment Company is an industry leading distributor of quality commercial food service equipment. We are based in Fenton, MO (St. Louis suburb) with 100 employees which includes 42 technicians across our five-state territory: Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Northwest Arkansas. We have an immediate need for an on-site Parts Customer Service Specialist located in Fenton, MO to assist our customers and technicians with identifying, purchasing, tracking, and issuing parts via phone to ensure timely delivery and exemplary customer service. This position requires 80% of the day on the phones and 20% assisting the parts department with inventory management.

What We Look For:

• Excellent customer service skills with a pleasant demeanor
• Ability to be patient and display self control with all types of customers
• Previous customer service or sales experience in a parts department is a plus!
• Ability to read wiring diagram and understand technical material required
• Has a "knack" with all things mechanical (aptitude)
• High School diploma or equivalent required. Technical school or HVAC training a plus!
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Enjoys sampling ice cream and slushies!
