Midwest Eye Care is looking for a Contact Lens Assistant at our location at 715 Harmony Street location.

Full-time (40 hours per week)

Monday - Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm 

In this role YOU will:

• Help patients with their contact lens needs: processing orders, applying insurance, dispensing or mailing contacts and various other tasks.
• Answer patient phone calls, and any questions regarding orders, appointments and rebates.
• Explain vision benefits to patients and collect fees.
• Communicate with lab and patients regarding fitting and billing.
• Maintain professionalism to provide excellent customer service for patients; practices confidentiality and privacy protocols by following policies and HIPAA requirements.

• Exceptional verbal communication and documentation skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service skills, a positive demeanor and a teamwork mindset.
• Experience and competency with computer applications, organizational and mathematical skills
• Willingness to travel between different locations in the Omaha Metro area. (We pay mileage and travel time)
• This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma/GED

Offered Candidates will need to do the following before first day:

• Successfully complete a background check which includes an education verification, and a motor vehicle record check. Positions handling payments will also complete a credit check post offer.
• Successfully complete drug testing.
