Delivery Driver

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a van or box truck to deliver products to customers. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities:

- Operate a van to deliver products to customers
- Load and unload products from the vehicle
- Navigate through busy streets and neighborhoods to ensure timely delivery
- Manage and maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of delivery routes and customer interactions
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise
- Ensure all products are delivered in a safe and secure manner
- Meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with customers

-Colleting orders from customer and email to the office in timely manner

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license
- Experience with route driving and delivery
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, including boards and boxes
- Familiarity with operating a forklift and pallet jack
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physical stamina to perform the demands of the job
- Ability to navigate through busy streets and neighborhoods
- Driving experience
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Experience with load and unload procedures
- Ability to operate a van
- Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines
- Ability to drive for extended periods of time
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
