Job Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking motivated and skilled Civil Engineers and Design Civil Engineers to work on a variety of projects focused on roadway, mobility, and transit systems. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in civil engineering principles, design, and project management. They will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, and transit systems.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, and other).
· Design and oversee construction projects for roadway and transit systems, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
· Prepare and present public reports on topics such as bid proposals, environmental impact statements, or property and right-of-way descriptions.
· Use design software to plan and design transportation infrastructure in line with industry and government standards.
· Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful project delivery.
· Collaborate with other engineers, architects, urban planners, and stakeholders to develop efficient and innovative solutions.
· Review and approve project drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
· Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new projects.
· Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
· Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
· Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
· 3-7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on roadway, mobility, and transit projects.
· Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar.
· Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and project management.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
· Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
