MiHome Systems is looking to hire an AV Technician / Full-Time & Part-Time to assist in the installation and integration of custom smart home technology systems and electronics. What you will do (or learn to do!):

• Fabricate equipment racks
• Pull and terminate cables
• Install audio, video, control systems, video conferencing equipment, etc
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Document daily activities for project progress, follow-up, and billing
• Guide clients through system operation
• Service and maintain control systems
• Perform work in West Michigan with possible travel to other states

Successful candidates will:

• Possess a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Provide excellent customer service and a drive to exceed the expectations and needs of our clients
• A desire and willingness to continue education and earn certifications as necessary
• Have passion for smart home technology

Abilities you will need:

• Able to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
• Capable of moving A/V equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
• May be required to ascend/descend, traverse, crawl, stoop and kneel
• Possess excellent communication and customer service skills
• Although not required, prior AV experience preferred
