Basic Function: As a QIDP, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal level of independence for the individuals under our care. From developing and implementing individual service plans to fostering a supportive and enriching environment, your contributions will make a lasting impact.

Description of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be the reliable rock star of our team, demonstrating prompt attendance and flexibility to meet individual and facility needs.
• Take the lead in scheduling and conducting individual staffing sessions to develop comprehensive service plans.
• Monitor and direct the correct implementation of individual service plans, ensuring the choices of the individual and guardian are respected and reflected in all aspects of daily activities.
• Maintain meticulous records and reports, from program revisions to monthly summaries, to ensure accurate documentation of individual progress.
• Foster therapeutic home-based and community activities, coordinating resources and continually seeking new opportunities for enrichment.
• Act as a liaison with day placements, families/guardians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Provide leadership and supervision to team leaders and members, promoting positive performance and professional growth.
• Oversee scheduling and ensure adequate coverage, keeping overtime to a minimum while planning for special circumstances and functions.
• Promote a clean, safe, and pleasant living environment for individuals and team members, actively participating in maintenance and upkeep tasks.
• Advocate for individual rights and promptly intervene in any concerns or complaints, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to Milestone's philosophy and policies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 21.
• Preferably, a minimum of one year's experience in the field, including program development and supervision.
• Bachelor's degree and QIDP status preferred, in compliance with Federal ICF/DD guidelines.
• Must be approved to drive Milestone vehicles and able to intervene physically in crises.
• Availability for rotating shifts as "Supervisor on Duty" and "Administrator on Duty," including weekend duties.
