Our Forklift Operator is responsible for using a forklift, electric pallet jack, and/or other power equipment to load, unload, move, stack, stage and count pallets and materials. Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, and storing as required. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle.
· Load/Unload material and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.
· Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
· Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
· Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
· Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs.
· Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
· Help maintain a safe and orderly environment for the facilities.
· Additional duties as assigned.
The starting salary for this position is $18.70 per hour plus an additional $4.57 per hour in cash fringe benefits for a maximum hourly rate of up to $23.27 with the possibility of additional weekly performance incentives.
