Military Technical Recruiting is Hiring a CNC Operator Near Charles, MO

This is an opportunity to begin your next career with a military-friendly company, that has hired from us in the past, and is eager to expand their technical team. If you have CNC experience and/or want to learn the CNC world, this is the role for you!
This client manufactures premium replacement parts and turrets for all makes and models of tablet presses, a diverse line of specialized, best-in-class tablet presses, and world-renowned tablet compression tooling. In this role, you'll be the operator of the CNC machine. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Review and understand work orders, tooling prints, set up sheets and all other information required to complete the process
· Set up and edit machine program per work order requirements
· Align work pieces
· Run parts and measure finished parts
· Inspect new Hob or re-made Hobs for defects and check dimensions
· If Hob is made from soft material, send to Heat Treat for hardening
· Run first piece, get First Piece Inspection
· Make Electrodes as needed
· This list is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employees may perform other related duties as assigned.
Pay Scale: Depending on experience, anywhere between $25-30/hr some OT = looking at $60k first year
Location: St Charles, MO
Hours: 8am-5pm type role

Requirements

Qualifications and requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Basic computer skills: Copy/paste, edit programs, file management
  • Strong mechanical and technical skills

Experience

  • 1 years of machining type environment or equivalent technical training

Physical requirements

  • Work is performed in a shop environment: air-conditioned, exposure to machinery noises. Exposure to coolants, lubricants, possibly abrasive compounds
  • Physical Effort: Work requires standing, stooping, bending and reaching. Frequently lift, handle and carry trays weighing up to 50 lbs.
