MILK AND HONEY HB is Hiring a Barista/Kitchen Near Huntington, CA
**This job is for Huntington Beach location only**
Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter
- Take orders while paying attention to details
- Prepare beverages and food following recipe
- Serve beverages and prepared food
- Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
- Keep the bar area clean
- Maintain the entire store clean, that includes bathroom and kitchen
- Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Communicate customer feedback to manager and recommend new menu item
Skills
- Previous work experience as a Barista, Kitchen Helper, Cook or Waiter/Waitress
- Hands-on experience with espresso machine or kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Basic math skills
- Ability to gauge customers’ preferences
- Excellent communication skills
- High school diploma; relevant training is a plus
Hourly rate is $16 plus tips (which is potentially about $21/hr)
MUST work holidays
Shift hours: 6:30am to 12pm or 12pm to 5pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
