Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing quality patient care and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy. Duties:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Prepare sterile products using aseptic technique, including IV infusions
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Perform medication reconciliation and ensure proper storage and labeling
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering inquiries and resolving issues
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of drug interactions to support medication safety
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a pharmacy technician program preferred
- Current pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with various medication classes
- Proficiency in performing calculations related to medication dosages
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
