- Monitors daily production schedules and suggests adjustments as appropriate; advises Production and Sales of changes in the schedule.
- Assists in investigating production control problems, analyzing root causes, and devising solutions.
- Analyzes statistics on job set ups and recommends adjustments to work schedules.
- Maintains the electronic production job scheduling program.
- Enters orders into the production schedule based on the Master Schedule and requested customer delivery dates, availability of raw materials, and equipment.
- Determines customer order ship dates based on material availability/lead times, current production schedules and production capacities.
- Helps to resolve conflicts to support target ship dates.
- Monitors inventory levels and access to the material.
- Serves as the back-up to the Materials & Scheduling Manager, including the ordering of raw materials in his/her absence.
- Serves as a technical resource to the Production Scheduler on issues that require escalation for timely resolution and is the back-up person in his/her absence.
- Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Statistics
- Good organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Team player able to work well across multiple business operations.
- Advanced computer literacy; proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Good with numbers
- Reports to Department Manager
- Full-Time Salaried Employee
- First Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday
- Pay: $60,000 - $80,000 annually
