A Day In The Life
- Picks product from warehouse area, and places it in pans according to prescribed quantity and placement.
- Performs visual inspection of product to ensure quality by monitoring color and texture.
- Visually checks for accuracy. (Ask Matt what this means. Should we rewrite or combine with line 2?)
- Communicates with Sheeting Operator to ensure roll quality.
- Works cooperatively with other members of the processing area.
- Maintains company standards for: cleanliness, rolls, equipment, food safety & productivity in the processing area.
- Ensures compliance to quality.
- Assists Operator in moving finished loads to print stage area.
- Operates Clamp Truck and loads paper rolls.
Capabilities & ExperienceBasic Qualifications
- Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend instructions. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standard situations.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Paperboard folding carton industry experience.
- Printing experience.
- Forklift & Forklift Clamp experience.
