Job Description: As a Quality Systems Manager, you will be responsible for the Quality Management Systems. This includes being the IATF Management Representative that is on-site for customer audits and 3rd party accreditation audits, and the IATF lead auditor. You will be responsible for maintaining, completing, and documenting internal audits as well as facilitating supplier development and second party audits. You will be expected to maintain good relationships with all Mill Steel production facilities, facilitate management review, be the corrective action expert, identify when a corrective action is needed, manage and improve the EASE software, facilitate continual improvement projects corporately, and promote the quality management system throughout the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promote the quality management system throughout the organization
• IATF Management Representative & Lead Auditor
• Fully knowledgeable of the IATF/ISO standards including IATF rules and sanctioned interpretations as well as being able to apply them across the Mill Steel organization
• Knowledge of ‘Core Tools’ and how to implement them across the Mill Steel organization
• Responsible for a robust internal audit program including scheduling and documentation
• Knowledge of the Mill Steel processes, procedures and policies including control plans, PFMEA, and work instructions
• Manage document control
• Reviewing and accurately document customer specific requirements
• Facilitate PPAP, IMDS, and CMRT
• Facilitate MSA studies
• Facilitate /complete customer assessments and surveys
• Review and log of supplier quality manuals from Mill Steel customers
• Manage Global Metrics Reporting
• EASE management, audit creation, scheduling. and reporting
• Proactive management of the corrective action log, facilitate CA’s & CIP’s when needed
• Trainer for Internal Auditor(s)
• Continue training and education of the Mill Steel teams on the quality management system

Qualifications:

• 5 years of lead IATF auditing experience
• IATF certified lead auditor
• Proficient in AIAG Automotive Core Tools
• Strong leadership abilities with proven success in motivating teams and fostering a productive work environment
• Business Etiquette and Professionalism
• Exceptional Communication Skills
• Technical report writing
• Able to adapt to new technology quickly
• Problem Solving Skills & Risk-Based Thinking
• Working knowledge of Teams, Excel, Word, Adobe, and Outlook
• 75% travel
