Millcreek Of Magee Treatment Center is Hiring an Admissions Nurse Near Magee, MS
We are looking for a full time Registered Nurse to join our ICF/IID team in providing our children with healthier, more productive lives. Benefits are 401K, Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance. This position also accrues Sick , Extended Sick, Vacation and Personal days. This position is responsible for admissions in the ICF/IID, scheduling, health assessments, etc.
- Completes admission nursing assessments, quarterly nursing assessments and annual nursing assessments as required by regulatory agencies.
- Complete documentation in the medical record accurately, timely, and in accordance with regulatory and corporate guidelines.
- Provide on call RN Services as requested by DON.
- Report pertinent information and/or changes in patient condition to LIP, DON, and/or on-call nurse as appropriate and in a timely manner.
- Utilize the nursing process which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Demonstrate competence in correctly giving prescribed medication.
- Demonstrate behavior that is consistent with leadership.
- Transcribe practitioner orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Complete medication discrepancy forms and notify LIP when they occur.
- Complete individualized nursing care plans as needed
- Follows all safety policies and adhere to all worker's compensation program guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $27.06 - $28.53 per hour
