Worker's Compensation Sales Representative Job Description

Job is located in Melbourne, FL 32940

Our ideal candidate is an Adjuster, Case Manager or FL Licensed Claims Examiner specializing in Workers' Compensation who is ready to switch sides and work on behalf of our patients. Must understand the ins and outs of Workers Compensation. Raise awareness and educate individuals or organizations in the Worker's Compensation arena regarding Millennium Medical Management. Responsibilities include but are not limited to meeting with attorneys, case managers and claims adjusters, advocating for Millennium Medical as the premier provider. Candidate must be extremely organized, able to multi-task, friendly and outgoing with a can do attitude.

Worker's Compensation Sales Representative Responsibilities and Duties

  • Meet with and educate attorneys, case managers and claims adjusters.
  • Contact any insurance or legal representative/attorney for case information to include client information and appointments.
  • Main point of contact for all worker's compensation sales issues.
  • Liaison between the physician and the insurance carrier.
  • Document status of meetings on a weekly basis.
  • Interact positively with agents and other external parties.
  • Document files in a clear manner.
  • HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
  • Must be able to communicate precisely and clearly with attorneys, adjusters, physicians, patients and staff.

Workers' Compensation Sales Representative Qualifications and Skills

  • Work Comp Adjuster, Case Manager or Licensed FL Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner.
  • Minimum one year work comp adjuster or case manager experience.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work well with external parties as well as co-workers.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Work Comp procedures.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Strong organizational analytical and problem solving skills.
  • The ability to coordinate multiple projects with varying and changing priorities and to meet deadlines.
  • Have the ability to work independently and collaboratively and possess strong customer-service skills.
