Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Inside Sales Representative to work alongside the Account Managers and shop personnel. As the inside sales representative you will be responsible for:
Competency
To perform the role successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
Hands-on, can-do attitude to drive sales and profit.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interact with maintenance personnel at our customers' manufacturing and power plants as well as talking with key procurement personnel in large centrally run corporations.
Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Must be able to work independently and show high initiative with minimal direction.
Desired Background
The ideal candidate will have a relevant college education in business, communications, or similar degree; a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalence is required.
1 year of experience in an inside sales or related role, preferably in the industrial/manufacturing industry.
Previous experience in the engineering field is strongly desired.
Job Shop Manufacturing, Construction, or related service industry experience as an inside sales representative.
1 year of ERP experience.

Millennium Power Services is a full-service valve repair shop and manufacturer of new valve parts with locations in Maine, Massachusetts, Virginia and Florida. With a fleet of mobile machine shops, we are able to offer on-site service throughout the United States. We offer emergency valve service both in our shops and at customer sites. We hold both National Board VR and ASME UV stamps. If you need a valve part Millennium either has it or can manufacture it. Our equipment includes: Large, 36 x 228 lathe CNC 4-Axis milling machines CNC lathes Manual lathes VTL Boring mills Milling machin...es. We recondition every type, size, and pressure class of valve and actuator manufactured for the power, paper, and process industries; we also provide full service on fuel gas valves, including the servo, hydraulic actuator valve, and we quickly manufacture any related parts. Quality Assurance We use electric, high-pressure steam, air, liquid, and hydraulic test stands to guarantee that every valve or actuator works properly when shipped. We also provide electronic safety valve testing. All our valve repair and test reports are available online through our EMS system. Fast Turn Around Most parts from the OEM can take 6-8 weeks: Millennium typically has a one-week turn around, at half the cost. We stock large amounts of raw materials in our shops for emergency jobs and offer 24/7 production when needed. Standard turn around for a set of five fuel gas valves is also about one week, with complete repair and test to all components.
