This role will provide day to day leadership, management and coordination of all activities pertaining to project coordination, direction, goal setting, planning, estimating, resource allocation and assignments, project health and reporting, issue resolution, and collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure project goals are met. In addition, the Project Manager will provide input into continuous process improvement for project management, communications and internal customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Include
Define project scope, objectives and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management
Apply project management concepts, principles, and practices for delivering tactical or strategic projects
Create and maintain project plans that communicate tasks, milestone dates, status and resource allocation
Actively manage project scope, budget, schedule, communications, risks and issues
Accurately report status on budget, schedule, resources and overall project health
Effectively communicate status and manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
Demonstrate technical understanding in the solution areas of assigned projects
Essential Job FunctionsThe selected candidate for this role should have a proven track record of managing projects of various sizes and levels of complexity. This individual will need to come up to speed quickly on current projects and be able to hit the ground running with assuming day to day project management responsibilities. The project management candidate should have proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders and project leadership teams as well as the ability to facilitate planning for cross-functional initiatives. Background in project portfolio management processes, techniques and solutions in a large corporate environment. Education/Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related technical discipline
10 years professional experience in a related technology or solution area
5 years professional experience leading corporate business and technology projects
Additional Desirable Qualifications, Skills And Knowledge
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is highly desired
Experience with Plainview Enterprise One v18 is desired; other PPM tools is a plus
Experience in the use of MS SharePoint and MS Teams
