Summary

Miller Proctor Nickolas, Inc. is seeking a Warehouseman to assist in the management of our Tarrytown warehouse.

This is a hands-on position in the area of parts and inventory management. The right candidate will be working together with a seasoned parts analyst and warehouse manager maintaining an accurate/complete inventory of parts for our business. This candidate will responsible for receiving deliveries from various shippers. Receiving in and placing parts and materials in stock shelves / staging area, placing items grouped for upcoming projects. The candidate will also be responsible for updating the inventory list and working with our Inventory Procurement specialist to maintain an accurate level of inventory. Occasionally, the candidate will make necessary deliveries in the company supplied a truck/van/pickup. In addition may be asked to help in assembling office furniture and deliver office supplies to departments.

Hours are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm - Monday thru Friday

The candidate MUST be physically fit and capable of lifting 75lbs, have a valid NYS driver’s license without pending or imposed restrictions. Perspective candidate will be subject to a back-ground check and pre-employment drug screening.

The goal of this position is to monitor and assist in regulating the receiving and distribution of our inventory in an efficient, accurate and profitable manner.

Role and Responsibilities

• Receiving, shipping material(s).
• Loading & Un-loading trucks and customers vans.
• Monitoring and reporting parts and material received and/or shipped, to maintain proper stock levels for our customers and our service department.
• Tracking order shipments to and from our vendors and customers.
• Documentation of all orders and shipments.
• Inventory control. To include receiving orders and entering them into the inventory control system.
• Operating and Maintaining a clean/safe warehouse.
