GENERAL PURPOSE Support the strategic implementation of the Miller Knoll Performance System (MKPS) in Operations or Business Areas. Coach, teach, and mentor team members and leaders on MKPS concepts and applications.
Essential Functions
  • Coach, teach, and mentor on MKPS tools and philosophies; consult on all modules of MKPS. Consult with employees outside at different MillerKnoll sites other than the assigned location as needed.
  • Create, update, and follow a coaching plan to develop Work Team Leaders and facilitators; develop training modules.
  • Develop MKPS plans for the department and assist in the development of MKPS plans for specific locations.
  • Develop a 'macro' plan on how to move the entire business unit ahead, not just the area impacted by improvements.
  • Evaluate new products or processes for improvement.
  • Implement continuous improvement with assigned manufacturing operations or business areas.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
  • Take appropriate preventative actions to ensure safety and quality.

Education And Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline or 10-15 years applicable work experience. 3-5 years HMPS experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated understanding and command of MKPS theories and concepts.
  • Proven consultative skills; ability to teach others and exhibits an eagerness to learn.
  • Successful project leadership experience.
  • Proven leadership experience: 1-3 years as a work team leader or change leader.
  • Proven ability to plan, develop, and deliver presentations and training.
Skills And Abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use office automation, communication, software, and tools currently used in the MillerKnoll office environment.
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations
