Our northside client is a stable and growing company seeking to fill a Staff Accountant role. This position will report to the Controller and focus on the general ledger activities of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
- Develops and implements systems throughout the department for the maintenance of financial records, making use of current technologies.
- Maintain depreciation schedules and other balance sheet supporting work papers.

- Creates forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel.
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Assist outside auditors with year-end review
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2 years of accounting experience required
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
