Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for conducting detailed analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Generate and reconcile journal entries, ensuring accurate and well-documented financial records.
- Compile and prepare comprehensive financial reports on a regular and periodic basis.
- Conduct audits of contracts, orders, and vouchers, as well as prepare detailed reports to validate employee transactions prior to final settlement.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and company policies through regular monitoring and reporting.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in financial entries and documents to maintain accuracy.
- Provide insightful recommendations on the accounting of reserves, assets, and expenditures.
- Ensure readiness for audits, supporting audit preparations and processes.
- Enhance operational efficiency by streamlining procedures and presenting recommendations for organizational improvement.
- Assist with A/R and A/P functions.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar function; Minimum of 2-4 years’ related experience and/or training within a similar accounting function; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess a strong working knowledge of G.A.A.P. (generally accepted accounting principles).
- Ability to operate a computer with Windows™ operating system, Outlook™ email, SAP™ financial system, databases, MS Office™ products.
- Knowledge in Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to maintain accuracy in financial records and reports.
