Summary of POSITION:
This is a hands-on role providing human resources support performing a variety of tasks with a primary focus in the recruiting and talent acquisition operation for clinical positions mainly Certified Nursing Assistants, Nurse Aides in Training and Caregivers for multiple shifts on multiple campuses. This role works with the Director of Retention and Engagement and there is also independent decision making and judgment. This role is responsible for placing job postings on various job boards such as Indeed also social media and company websites, sourcing candidates, prescreening candidates, attending and/or coordinating job fairs, communicating openings to our college/university relationships, community, and high school relationships, making job offers and coordinating the onboarding process. The HR role will assist with other HR functions as required.

Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree is nice to have.
Minimum of 2 to 3 years HR Generalist and recruiting experience.
Experience in a multi shift environment for both hourly and exempt level positions is preferred.
Experience in long term care would be a nice-to-have but not required. All related and relevant experience will be considered.
Knowledge and/or Skills:
Knowledge of current employment laws and regulations, labor relations laws, and regulations is required.
Knowledge of UKG Ready or other type of HRIS is preferred.
Exceptional communication skills, including oral, written and presentation skills is required.
Equipment operation: PC, telephone, printer, copier and other relevant office equipment

Milwaukee Catholic Home is a nonprofit corporation which was founded in 1913 by a group of concerned women who wanted to provide a residence in the Milwaukee area for older men and women. It was chartered by the State of Wisconsin as a residence in 1913. It opened in an anonymously donated home on North Astor Street where it remained until 1926. In December of that year, it was moved to 2301 E. Bradford Avenue where it provided a comfortable home to hundreds of residents for the next 47 years. In 1973, Milwaukee Catholic Home was opened at 2462 N. Prospect Avenue. It contained 140 apartments a...nd a 56-bed Health Care Center licensed as a skilled nursing facility. In 1997, additional services were added in a three-story building which surrounds a courtyard. Located at 2330 N. Prospect Avenue is a 122 bed Health and Rehabilitation Center, Assisted Living and Generations Day Center. While Milwaukee Catholic Home has a strong relationship to the Roman Catholic Church in terms of history, tradition and service, persons of all faiths are welcome.
