- Must obey all safety rules including LOTO, PPE requirements, and fall protection.
- Troubleshoot and repair facilities equipment in the distribution center.
- Willingness to work extended or different hours if/when needed as well as answer calls after hours to keep areas operating efficiently.
- Provide support for all departments in the distribution center to help keep each area productive.
- Develop and maintain complete P.M. schedule on all equipment.
- Escort, monitor, and aid outside contractors to ensure all safety and building rules are maintained.
- Perform building repairs and other duties as required such as light plumbing, painting, and running occasional maintenance related errands.
- Requires education equivalent to four years of high school.
- 2-4 years of professional work experience in a production environment.
- Results-focused, takes ownership of team success.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to problem-solve quickly and execute solutions effectively.
- Requires development mindset and always willing to learn and be coached.
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of tools and boxes.
- Standing for long periods of time, as well as repetitive motion.
- Operate manual pallet jacks (Operation of other equipment is a plus!).
- Able to work in various temperature conditions.
- Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 70lbs.
