Mind & Body Therapeutic Connections, PLLC is Hiring a Mental Health Medical Office Manager Near Garner, NC

Mind and Body Therapeutic Connections in Garner is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team. We are a counseling practice and wellness studio offering an integrative approach to wellness through a wide variety of services. We work with patients in-person and virtually empowering them with the knowledge, resources, and support they need to optimize their health and mental health.

We strongly believe that emotional well-being and physical health are linked. Therefore, we offer a multidisciplinary team of providers to help our clients. In addition to psychotherapy, we provide psychiatric medication management, nutrition counseling, acupuncture, massage therapy, Reiki, yoga, small group fitness, and personal training, all here at Mind & Body Therapeutic Connections.

We are currently seeking an Office Manager who is dedicated, reliable, professional, ambitious, passionate about helping people, a problem-solver, and a team player. An individual with experience working in the behavioral health field or medical office setting is required. We are looking for someone who can work on a wide array of assigned tasks. Strong technical skills and the ability to figure things out independently are essential.

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce policies and procedures, assign tasks, accept instructions, email clients, team members, and referral sources, etc.
  • Organization, time management, and the ability to multitask to complete a wide variety of tasks is essential.
  • Flexibility to help them adjust to new tasks should company or office needs change. We are looking for someone who is not afraid to try new things and will complete any task that the practice needs, no matter how big or small.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy to interact positively with all team members, clients, and the community.
  • Leadership ability to manage challenges and oversee employees.
  • Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.
  • Solid computer and technical abilites are needed for this role.
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple EHRs, scheduling systems, Talk Route (phone system), HSRM (VA portal), VSDC video editor, and other online systems.
  • Creativity, artistic talents, social media, marketing and design capabilities are needed.

Role:

We are looking for an Office manager to organize and coordinate administration duties and office procedures. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety. Office manager duties and responsibilities include scheduling meetings and appointments, making office supplies arrangements, greeting visitors and providing general administrative support to our employees. Prior experience with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets, and databases) and be able to accurately handle administrative duties. Ultimately, the Office manager should be able to ensure the smooth running of the office and help to improve company procedures and day-to-day operations.

Additional details:

  • The Office Manager will be expected to work at the office, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend when there is a marketing event. Hours of availability are mostly between 8am-5:30pm.
  • We need someone who is familiar with utilizing Electronic Health Records and/or scheduling systems.
  • Prior knowledge of and experience with health insurance benefits, mental health conditions, and therapeutic modalities would be helpful.
  • Looking for efficiency, attention to detail, a quick learner, ability to focus and multi-task effectively, and strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to effectively complete or assist in any task assigned, as this role also includes executive and administrative assistant responisibilities.
  • Must be comfortable with being at a computer the majority of the day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
