Medical Receptionist
Job Summary:
Join our team at Mind & Body Wellness Medical Center as we seek a dedicated Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a medical setting.
Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
- Verify patient information, insurance eligibility & benefits, and update records accurately.
- Assist with billing tasks, insurance claims, and processing payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in using medical software. Training will be provided.
- Strong administrative skills with knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
