Telehealth Psychiatrist

MindCare Solutions is a leading provider of round-the-clock telepsychiatry and in-person behavioral health that provides services to hospitals, emergency departments and a variety of other care settings. We partner with healthcare organizations to deliver best-in-class, end-to-end behavioral health solutions that combine evidence-based care pathways, advanced technology, and high-quality providers. We are searching for a BC/BE Psychiatrist licensed in TN to provide Consult-Liaison Psychiatry (Inpatient Medical/Surgical consultation) to our clients.

Compensation: $165 - 200 per hour on average

Position Summary:

• Psychiatrist will see approximately 1 patient encounter per hour
• 8, 10, 12-hour shifts between (7a-11p)
• An average of 32, 36, or 40 hours per week options available
• PRN or Part-Time also available
• Respond immediately to consult requests received during a scheduled shift
• Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring
• Utilization of the following EHRs Intelligent Routing, Meditech, Epic, Core
• MindCare will assist in the cost to get licensed if Psychiatrist already has one compact licensure; we may request additional licenses as well
• Psychiatrist will evaluate and treat patients referred for the assessment and treatment of neuropsychiatric conditions, behavioral health disorders, and comorbid conditions. Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring including prescribing medications within limits of applicable
• Other State license preferences: KS, MO, CA, TN, TX
• MindCare utilizes productivity compensation models - multiple options are available

Qualifications:

• Psychiatrist is required to have an active and unrestricted license in the state of TN
• Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry
• Valid and unrestricted DEA
• Required to be well-versed in telemedicine technologies and EHR programs
• PMHNP Supervision/Collaboration may also be requested
