Job description

• Provide technical guidance on test automation design and development activities and configuration management.
• Understand the System well and can come up with positive and negative scenarios.
• Creation and maintenance of end-to-end automation test scripts
• Partner with DevOps team and Scrum team to provide direction on CI/CD setup, helping to resolve impediments
• Able to communicate needs and blockers in time.
• Experience testing a variety of complex technical components or products.
• Analyzes data to identify trends in product quality or defects with a goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in software testing
• 2 or more years of experience testing complex backend batch processing and web UIs.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in an Agile methodology - Scrum and SAFe experience preferred
• 2 or more years of experience working on developing automated test suites leveraging one or more of the following tools:
• Selenium, DevTest, UFT, Cucumber
• Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in one of the following Test Frameworks:
• jUnit, TestNG
• Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in one of the following:
• Java / J2EE, JavaScript, Python, Ruby

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Extensive knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn production processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with developers, scrum master and Product Owner.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in working in an Agile environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with test management tools (JIRA, ALM, etc. - ideally Agile Central/Rally)
