As a Sr. Social Media Manager for Client's Public Safety Segment, you will lead and execute our social media strategy aimed at attracting business decision-makers and IT decision-makers from public safety agencies and organizations.

Responsibilities:
• Strategic Development & Execution: Develop, plan, and execute social media content across primary channels (Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn).
• Content Creation: Create engaging and high-quality social media content that drives high click-through and engagement rates.
• Audience Growth: Grow our audiences organically by producing compelling content and utilizing smart tactics such as hashtags, sponsorships, and advocacy.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality for all social media content, ensuring accuracy and alignment with brand messaging.
• Channel Expansion: Evaluate, stand up, and build audiences on new social media platforms and channels to broaden our reach and engage with the public safety segment effectively.
• Thought Leadership: Stay updated on the latest social media trends, technologies, and best practices, and confidently share insights and guidance with the team.
• Training & Guidance: Provide social media training and guidance to colleagues across the business, including segment managers and sales teams.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze social media performance, report KPIs monthly, and identify new opportunities for improvement.
• Process Management: Ensure all social media activities follow established processes, policies, and the social media playbook.
Qualifications:
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or business.
• Experience: 8 years in marketing and social media management, preferably in a public safety/government environment.
Skills:
• Strategic and analytical mindset with a creative and resourceful approach.
• Proven experience in driving user acquisition, audience growth, and engagement on social media platforms.
• Deep understanding of social media platforms and their audiences.
• Proficiency in using social media management and listening tools (e.g., SproutSocial, HubSpot, TweetDeck).
• Knowledge of social influencer strategies and best practices.
• Strong writing and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience in creating campaign briefs and collaborating with creative agencies.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background screen.
