Job Description:

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Logistic Coordinators to join our Control Tower Group in Santa Ana, CA. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation and logistics solutions. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in route optimization, multimodal transport, and logistics process management.

Responsibilities:

• Identify various risks that may arise during contract execution or business operations and establish alternatives to mitigate them.
• Resolve logistical issues by maintaining close relationships with shipping companies and execution partners (rail companies, trucking/drayage companies, port terminals) to secure favourable transportation resources and rates.
• Monitor delivery progress from ocean shipping vessels to final delivery destinations.
• Develop simple tools to manage regular shipment monitoring and report status to upper management, customers, and headquarters.
• Analyze data to identify pending issues affecting seamless movement and collaborate with related parties to resolve these issues.
• Analyze and report monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for drayage deliveries.
• Create and share delivery status reports with customers.
• Develop innovative plans to reduce logistics costs and optimize client operations.
• Identify and establish solutions for operational issues in various regions and bases.
• Establish communication channels and regular meeting sessions with carriers, customers, and internal departments.
• Perform ad-hoc reporting and other job-related duties as required.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree preferred, or GED equivalent.
• Experience in route setup and optimization for various transport modes, including multimodal transport.
• Proven ability to establish and manage logistics processes, including warehouse operations and local transportation.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude.
• Proficient in Outlook, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with advanced skills in vlookup and pivot tables.
• Excellent prioritization skills, with the ability to shift focus to urgent issues without falling behind on other duties.
