COMPENSATION:
$65,040.00 annual minimum

STATUS & HOURS:
Full-time, regular (approximately ## annual hours) position.

BENEFITS:
Eligible to participate in State Employee Group Insurance Program and a retirement program with employer contribution. Generous vacation and sick time accruals with additional paid holidays.

DESCRIPTION: This position exists to develop and implement talent management strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization’s business goals and support its talent acquisition, retention, and development objectives. This includes significant program oversight for performance management, employee engagement, leadership coaching and development, succession planning programs and supporting culture and inclusion initiatives. The Talent Development Supervisor will also lead the internship program team as the internship programs are fundamental in our goals of accessibility, development, and contributing to the field. This position is a key member of the Talent Team and partners closely with the HR Generalists.

SUMMARY OF WORK: 1) Develop and implement talent management strategies; 2) Lead the employee performance management process; 3) Oversee a talent development execution and implementation of strategy that aligns with MNHS’s business strategy; 4) Provide leadership for the Internship programs to align strategy, goals, processes and results with the MNHS mission; 5) Collaborate with the Talent Team to develop and implement succession planning strategies to ensure a pipeline of qualified internal candidates for critical roles; 6) Partner with People & Culture and Business Leaders; and 7) Design, implement, and enforce accountability for policies, practices, and contracts for the MNHS workforce.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least eight years prior talent development/leadership development training experience, minimum of five years HR experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Strong work ethic and sense of confidentiality.
  • Customer service orientation with ability to escalate issues when appropriate and interact with Senior leadership.
  • Previous experience with overseeing performance management, succession planning, competency modeling and leadership development programs.
  • Strong technical skills to include Google Suite, LMS systems and performance review systems.
  • Project management skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • Certification in any well-known leadership development program (e.g.: Covey, CCL, EQ-I, IDI) preferred
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Behavioral Sciences, or Business Administration
  • Data analysis skills
  • Experience working with internship programs.
