Minor Rubber Co., Inc. is a manufacturer of industrial rubber products located in Bloomfield, New Jersey, that sells nationally and internationally to a diverse market of OEM manufacturers, distributors, and government organizations.

Summary of Position:

· Inspect incoming materials from the receiving department and document findings.

· Assist with PPAP and FAI when requested.

· Spot check received goods periodically.

· Respond in a timely manner to customer requests (Reach/RoHS/Prop 65/TSCA/FMD)

· Document NCR’s and CAR’s in the proper system.

· Assist the Quality Manager with root causing of customer complaints or supplier issues.

· Document and process RMA’s and RTS’s in the system.

Major activities and responsibilities:

· Inspection of incoming and questionable goods.

· Approve of FAI and/or Drawings.

· Assist the Quality Manager with ISO 9001.

Background requirements:

· High school Diploma or GED Equivalent

· Some training or work experience in quality disciplines such as PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA and ISO 9001 quality standard

· Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints

· Experience working in a quality-controlled environment.

· Able to compose documentation for Quality program such as work instructions or process procedures.

Additional requirements (if any):

· Capable of using and reading gauges, such as digital calipers, durometers, and radius gauges.

· Good communication skills.

· Good computer skills.

Organizational relationship:

· Reports to the Quality Manager
