The Mint Dispensary was founded in Arizona in 2016 as a patient-centric, affordable, vertically integrated, state-licensed medical cannabis dispensary. The Mint’s commitment to its core values, patients, and community resulted in the exponential growth of its retail brand. This led to the successful opening of its second Arizona commercial indoor medical marijuana cultivation facility in 2018, where we proved that we are capable of being leaders in the cannabis industry.
Due to our consistent delivery of quality products, The Mint has continued to see a boom in growth, with six thriving locations in Arizona, seven Michigan locations, and a brand new store in Missouri. We want to expand our dedicated team to continue promoting our growth and business needs!
Full Job DescriptionMint Cannabis is seeking to employ a Patient Service Representative at its new location in St. Peters, Missouri.
The Patient Service Representative educates patients and provides information about medical cannabis and its uses while providing fantastic customer service. Sometimes, a patient service representative is asked to cross-train and assist in other departments, such as administration and packaging. We want to maintain a fun, welcoming, and professional environment for patients and coworkers.
Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Duties:
• Provides patients with education and information about medical cannabis and its uses
• Assists patients with product selection in an efficient and timely manner
• Processes patient orders and payments utilizing POS software
• Operate, maintain, and close cash till and deposit the end of daily earnings
• Assists management staff with daily operational needs. (This includes assisting in other departments when needed)
• Maintain a clean and professional environment for patients
• Attributes:
• Customer-focused with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Knowledge of the uses of medicinal cannabis and different methods of medicating
• Knowledge of cannabis brands and products available on the Missouri market
• General knowledge of cannabis product regulations, including dispensing procedures and patient transaction limits
• Demonstrate the ability to operate Point of Sale and other computer systems while assisting patients
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

Qualifications:

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience:
• Customer service: 1 year
• Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
• Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)

• Required:
• Applicant must be twenty-one (21) years of age
• Valid Missouri Drivers License
• Must obtain AGENT ID permit
• Great attention to detail with thorough record-keeping abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, customer service, and sales skills
• Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods (3 hours)
• Ability to operate a computer, POS/register system, keyboards, and scanners
• Knowledge of cannabis brands and products available on the Missouri market
• Knowledge of cannabis product regulations, including dispensing procedures and patient transaction limits
