The Mint Cannabis was founded in Arizona in 2016 as a patient-centric, affordable, vertically integrated, state-licensed medical cannabis dispensary. The Mint’s commitment to its core values, patients, and community resulted in the exponential growth of its retail brand. This led to the successful opening of its second Arizona commercial indoor medical marijuana cultivation facility in 2018, where we proved that we are capable of being leaders in the cannabis industry.
Due to our consistent delivery of quality products, The Mint has continued to see a boom in growth, with six thriving locations in Arizona, seven Michigan locations, and a brand new store in Missouri. We want to expand our dedicated team to continue promoting our growth and business needs!

Full Job DescriptionMint Cannabis is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager. You will be responsible to motivate and mentor 20 employees. You will inspire a team of great people committed to creating a welcoming environment and development of the Mint Culture. Store Managers must have good communication and interpersonal skills, strong leadership and motivational skills, high customer service expectations, and strong conflict resolution skills. You must be a qualified, genuine individual, dedicated to shaping the cannabis industry, accountable with a strong sense of integrity, and driven to make an impact. Key Responsibilities:

• What You Will Do:
• Provide leadership and direction to a team of 25-50 people
• Responsible for running and completing daily sales reporting
• Responsible for maintaining quality customer service by establishing and enforcing company standards, handling customer inquiries, and resolving complaints
• Oversee the dispensary environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement, coach the team, and take action to achieve operational goals
• Responsible for coordinating inventory audits, assessments of productivity, and of new merchandise in partnership with other departments
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities
• Coordinate and partner with the Marketing Department to analyze metrics and recommend future opportunities
• Supervise the retail store's daily operations, including product orders, cash handling, financial reporting, customer communication, patient education, and building and managing an effective team
• Provides observations to assist with employee performance reviews
• Responsible for coordinating operations, merchandising, staffing, training, rewards, discipline, and employee evaluations for the store
• Provide relief to other employees in any position

• Expectations:
• Adhere to all cannabis state-specific regulations and laws, execute and enforce compliance efforts
• Maintain a positive attitude and instill the same in others to promote teamwork
• Utilizing management information tools and analyzing financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in in-store performance
• Responsible for securing the facility when closed maintaining the secure alarm codes and safe codes
• Management:
• Manage with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes Mint Cannabis's values and culture
• Develop and lead daily and monthly team meetings
• Establish a regular schedule for the retail staff, including team member time off
• Create and sustain vendor relationships
• In conjunction with Human Resources, oversee the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring process to build a team to deliver superior customer service and patient care
• Give authorization to a second party and act as a witness to employee discipline and terminations

What Qualifications Do You Have:

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience:
• Customer Service: Minimum 2 years
• Management: Minimum 1 year
• Retail Cannabis Industry: 1 year - preferred
