We want to expand our dedicated team to continue promoting our growth and business needs! Full Job DescriptionMint Cannabis is seeking an experienced an experienced SOP writer. The Systems and Processes Compliance Specialist will be responsible for providing support by writing and editing standard operating procedures across the enterprise and evaluating compliance activities across the business to ensure that we operate within all state and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations across all divisions of the company. Our preferred candidate should possess experience in developing training materials, creating flow charts, one-pagers, training documents, and offering administrative support to the compliance team. Key Responsibilities:
Daily Duties:
Develops and maintains state compliance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the organization
Drafts clear and concise SOPs to guide team members in daily operations and meet state regulatory requirements
Regularly reviews and updates SOPs to ensure relevance and effectiveness
Keeps abreast of industry standards and best practices in SOP development and documentation
Assists in managing regulatory compliance across all business lines within the state
Ensures state compliance training manuals and mandatory training programs are current, in collaboration with compliance and management teams
Supports the internal mock audit program
Possesses comprehensive knowledge of industry regulations and state compliance guidelines
Maintains accurate and timely records and reports
Cultivates a positive work environment, fostering collaboration and respect among team members
Assists the compliance team as needed
Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by management
Requirements:
Must be able to obtain an AZDHS-issued Dispensary/Facility Agent Card
21 years of age
Valid Arizona driver license or Identification
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Previous experience creating SOP’s
Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into clear and concise SOPs
Skills:
Must be able to demonstrate advanced proficiency using Google Suite
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals at all levels of the organization
Excellent oral and written communication skills; sophisticated interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop strong internal relationships, influence others, and work as part of cross-functional teams
