Responsibilities:- Assist the doctor with all oral surgeries and patient charting
- Prepare exam rooms and enter patient information into electronic records
- Communicate effectively with physicians, management, staff, patients, and their families
- Take high quality radiographs
- Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance
- Follow all OSHA and BBP (Blood borne Pathogen) federal guidelines
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Active State Dental Assisting license
- 2 years of hands-on Dental Assistance experience
- Current radiography certification required
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training as required by law
What Makes You Stand Out?
- Open Dental experience
- Previous Oral Surgery or Facial Surgical Experience, but we are willing to train a superior candidate who has excellent experience in other surgical areas
- Current certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia is a plus
